Chef Mark boasts of having been "one of the youngest executive chefs ever in the city of Las Vegas." He has worked in casinos, hospitals and schools, and even owned his own location for a time. He was a private caterer to many celebrities.
These days, Chef Mark indulges his passion for culinary nutrition (we're guessing that's healthy food that tastes good), by traveling the world running healthy cooking programs. He has also produced more than 100 one-hour cooking episodes on four TV networks and written three cookbooks. His newest book, Simply Incredible Flavor, has been recommended by six doctors. For more information, events calendar, recipes and all the online goodies, check out his website.
This is a FREE event, but donations are encouraged to support the ministry. Seating is limited; arrive early. Actually, the church requests your reservation to know how much food to buy: Call 810-627-2066.
Seventh-Day Adventists adhere to a vegan or vegetarian diet consisting mainly of fresh fruits and vegetables. It has something to do with purifying the body to feel connected to God. Whether you are a Seventh-Day Adventist, a Christian, or even a non-Christian, this diet could help you live a healthier life, prevent illness, lose weight or maintain healthy weight, and think more clearly.
A lovely website about the Seventh-Day Adventist Diet - though written by an independent source, not the church itself - can be found at http://www.seventhdayadventistdiet.com/ .
